Not everything that looks like an answered prayer is from God. Sometimes it’s a distraction dressed up like a blessing.

Counterfeits come when you’re closest to your breakthrough. They show up loud, fast, flattering, and off in your spirit. The enemy doesn’t just fight you with pain. He fights you with premature promises.

**The enemy always sends a counterfeit before God sends the REAL THING. That connection that felt right but left you confused. That open door that drained you instead of blessing you. That relationship that looked like destiny but carried destruction. It was NEVER RANDOM. It was strategic warfare. The enemy will always try to send a copy before the promise.

**Counterfeits are always loud, fast, and flattering. Counterfeits come with urgency, not peace. They overpromise and underdeliver. They speak to your insecurity, not your identity. They feel right in the flesh, but something always feels off in the spirit.  ( Pro. 14:12 )  ” There is a way that SEEMS RIGHT to a man, but in the end it leads to death. “

**Counterfeits come when you are close to a breakthrough. Jezebel did not show up until Elijah was shifting the nation. Ishmael came before Isaac. Saul sat on the throne before David was crowned. The enemy sees what you are about to step into and tries to distract you with something that looks like what you prayed for, but costs you your peace.  ( 2 Cor. 11:14 ).  ” Even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. “

**Discernment is how you break the cycle. You do not overcome counterfeits by being suspicious. You overcome them by being submitted to The Word, to wise counsel, and the Holy Spirit. God will NEVER give you a gift that PULLS YOU AWAY FROM HIM! If you have to compromise your peace, your voice, or your convictions, it IS NOT FROM HIM! 

**God will send the real thing, but only AFTER you pass the test. You ARE NOT crazy. You ARE NOT cursed. You ARE being trained to discern every false door. God prepares you to recognize the real one, and when God sends the real thing, you will know by the fruit, NOT the flash.

Here’s the good news. God will ALWAYS provide you a way out. And when the real thing comes, it WILL NOT drain you. It WILL confirm what God has ALREADY said.

You ARE NOT crazy.

You ARE NOT cursed.

You are just being trained to recognize what IS REAL!
