FAITH CAN REACH WHERE CIRCUMSTANCES CANNOT
There are situations that circumstances can make look impossible.
But faith does not take its instruction from circumstances.
Faith takes its instruction from the Word of God.
Consider the woman with the issue of blood.
For twelve long years, she suffered.
She had spent everything she had on physicians, yet she was not better. In fact, she grew worse.
But then she heard about Jesus.
Something changed.
She said:
“If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” — Mark 5:28
She came behind Him.
She touched His garment.
And immediately, the fountain of her blood dried up.
Jesus turned and said:
“Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole.” — Mark 5:34
She had every reason to give up.
Her body said one thing.
Her history said another.
Her circumstances said, “Nothing will change.”
But faith said:
“If I can get to Jesus…”
And she did.
Brethren, faith is not pretending that the problem does not exist.
Faith is believing that Jesus is greater than the problem.
Your diagnosis may be real.
Your financial difficulty may be real.
Your family situation may be real.
The years of disappointment may be real.
But none of these things is greater than the power of God.
The Bible says:
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” — Luke 1:37
And Jesus said:
“All things are possible to him that believeth.” — Mark 9:23
Notice this carefully:
Faith did not become her healer.
Jesus was her healer‼️
Her faith reached out and received from Him.
So today, don’t allow your circumstances to become louder than God’s Word.
Find what God has said.
Believe it.
Pray it.
Act upon it.
And bring your need to Jesus.
You may have been suffering for years, but your years of suffering do not make Jesus powerless.
Reach out in faith.
Your circumstances may have a history.
But Jesus has the final word.
ACT ON THE WORD:
Take the promise of God concerning your situation. Pray over it today. Believe God—not because your circumstances look favorable, but because He is faithful.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” — Hebrews 13:8
