Stop Wishing for a Miracle—Start Moving Toward One!
Passive faith changes nothing. Faith isn’t just agreeing that God can do it; faith responds when God speaks.
James 2:26 says, “Faith without works is dead.”
Real biblical faith always has a heartbeat, a voice, and a step attached to it.
Look at the Gospels—miracles were rarely received sitting still:
The woman with the issue of blood didn’t just wish for healing. She pressed through the crowd, reached out, and touched His garment. (Mark 5:34)
The paralytic’s friends didn’t just talk about Jesus. They carried the mat, ripped open a roof, and lowered him down.
The blind men refused to suffer in silence. They yelled over the noise: “Son of David, have mercy on us!” (Matthew 9:27)
The Syrophoenician woman faced apparent rejection, but she kept worshipping, asking, and believing until her breakthrough came.
Notice the common denominator? Faith acts‼️
Faith prays. It asks, seeks, knocks, obeys, and steps forward. It stubbornly refuses to surrender to unbelief‼️
This isn’t about manufacturing your own miracle—our confidence rests entirely in the sovereign goodness of God. But Scripture calls us to put our feet to our belief.
“Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.” — James 1:22
So don’t just scroll past this and say “Amen.” Do something with the Word today:
Need healing or restoration? Pray.
Need direction? Ask God.
Need forgiveness? Come to Christ.
God gave you an instruction? Take the step.
Need support? Reach out for prayer.
Don’t let fear paralyze you, and don’t let yesterday’s disappointment shrink tomorrow’s expectation. Jesus is still Lord. His Word is still true. Your job is to believe and obey—leave the outcome in His hands.
WHAT IS YOUR FAITH REQUIRING YOU TO DO TODAY?
Don’t just be a hearer. Before you lock your phone screen, take one step of obedience. Your faith might just be the step that opens the door to your encounter‼️
