This is what this story has taught me. We’ve all read and heard the story about the woman at the well. But, after reading it recently, there are some things that really stood out to me.

So, here’s what the woman at the well taught me about shame, calling and being chosen anyway.

***She came to the well alone. In the heat of the day. Avoiding stares. Dodging whispers. She was carrying the weight of 5 husbands and a reputation.

And, don’t miss this. JESUS SAT THERE WAITING FOR HER !

***He asked her for water. But what He really came to give her was LIFE !  Not just eternal, but emotional, spiritual, and personal restoration.

***He didn’t shame her. He told her the truth. He ” read her mail. “  And yet, He still offered her Living Water.

Because grace DOESN’T RUN FROM YOUR PAST. IT REDEEMS IT !

***This is for the woman, the man, the individual who’s been:

#1- Talked about more than taught.

#2- Judged more than discipled.

#3- Avoiding  ” church people ” because of how they made you feel.

Jesus still meets you at the well.

***She dropped the water jar. Ran back to the town that rejected her and became the first evangelist in Samaria.

Her story changed stories.

***God will use the very woman, the man, the very person they gossip about to start a revival they’re NOT READY FOR !

***You ARE NOT disqualified. You ARE NOT your past, And YOU ARE STILL chosen.

You just need to meet Jesus at the well.

The Samaritan woman didn’t come to the well expecting a miracle. She came to avoid the stares. To get water. To STAY INVISIBLE. But Jesus saw her. Called her out- not to shame her, but to set her free.

And when she met the real Living Water, she dropped the jar, ran back into the same town that REJECTED HER, and said: ” Come see a man who told me everything I ever did, and still didn’t leave me! “

Let them whisper. Let them scroll. God WILL STILL USE YOU !

Because He doesn’t anoint the perfect. He anoints the willing. He anoints the humble, the obedient.  And this type of revival, it’s PERSONAL !

***She had 5 husbands. A messy past. And still became the first evangelist in her region. God will use the person they tried to shame to start the revival THEY’RE NOT READY FOR ! YOU’RE STILL CHOSEN ! 

Don’t ever forget this; The same Jesus who sat with a woman who had 5 husbands, isn’t intimadated by your past. He didn’t shame her. He used her. And revival broke out. 

Stop disqualifying yourself. Drop the jar. Your story is about to touch people who might not be touched by a sermon. Your srory might just be the sermon.

Quit living with a ’ victim mentality. ’ You’re NOT damaged. You’re delivered. And this anointing, it came from crushed places.
