Winning is not always the goal. Obedience is. There is nothing wrong with ambition.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to build, scale, grow, and succeed.
But the moment winning becomes your goal (idol), you will start compromising
alignment to maintain applause.
You’ll pray less and strive more. You’ll seek platforms over presence. You’ll chase
outcomes instead of intimacy.
And that is the danger of misplaced desire!
So what do we need to know when it comes to misplaced desire? How can I
know if my desires are misplaced?
#1~~~WHEN YOU WANT TO WIN MORE THAN YOU WANT TO OBEY!
It’s dangerous when your desire to be seen, applauded, or elevated outweighs your
desire to be sanctified. Winning in the flesh doesn’t equal winning in the spirit.
GOD IS NOT IMPRESSED BY YOUR PLATFORMS-HE’S AFTER YOUR POSTURE!
#2~~~AMBITION WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY IS DANGEROUS!
When discipline and discernment are optional, pride will become your compass.
You’ll justify disobedience just to get ahead.
BUT WHAT GOOD IS IT TO GAIN A STAGE AND LOSE YOUR SOUL?
#3~~~YOU CAN’T PRAY FOR DESTINY WHILE REBELLING AGAINST THE PROCESS!
God’s way includes pruning, quiet season’s, and hiddenness. But if you’re obsessed
with arrival, you’ll skip what God uses to develop.
DON’T CONFUSE A FAST TRACK WITH A DIVINE ONE!
#4~~~DISCERNMENT—-APPLAUSE!
If it costs your integrity, your peace, or your obedience-it’s not a win, IT’S A TRAP!
THE ENEMY KNOWS HOW TO PACKAGE DISTRACTIONS AS DIVINE OPPORTUNITIES!
#5~~~ASK YOURSELF THIS:
*Did I choose this or did God assign it?
*Am I running toward purpose or trying to escape pruning?
*Is my heart still surrendered-or just strategic?
I never want to win at something God NEVER TOLD me to build! I never want success
that COSTS ME SURRENDER!
So, check your motives.
Is it about impact…or image?
Is it about assignment…or applause?
When your desires are aligned with Him, you don’t have to force results. Heaven backs
what God births!
