Right thinking comes from the Word of God. When we feed on and receive God’s Word into our hearts and minds, letting His words govern our thought lives, our words, and our daily actions, our lives will be transformed. It’s important to remember that change happens from the inside out, not the outside in. The more we think right, thinking in line with the Word of God, the sweeter life will be.

Wrong thinking opens the door to the devil and closes the door to God. That’s why Satan works continually to try to interject wrong thinking into our thought lives. Wrong thinking makes life hard, but right thinking opens the door to God and closes the door to the devil. Feeding and acting on God’s Word runs out wrong thinking.

God can only work through right thinking. His hindered from working for us the way He wants to when we think wrong. God is a perfect gentleman—He won’t work uninvited. He’s not like the devil, who tries to drive and force people. Right thinking invites God to work and operate on our behalf.

Every thought that comes TO you did not come FROM you. You are the custodian and steward of your mind and thought life; it is under your control. You are to learn to recognize wrong thoughts, reject them, and cast them down, refusing to turn them over in your mind.

Romans 12:2 instructs us “…be not conformed to this world : but BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND…” One of the greatest needs of every believer is to renew their mind with the Word of God, for a renewed mind is our greatest defense against the devil. It keeps the door closed to him.

RIGHT THINKING = RIGHT LIVING!!!
