Rumors-The Great Awakening

Ricky  /  October 29, 2026

RUMORS CAN MAKE YOU HATE INNOCENT PEOPLE AND LOVE THE HYPOCRITES. BE WISE!

The Great Awakening: Not Everything You Hear Is the Truth, and Not Everyone You Trust Deserves Your Trust.

One of the most dangerous things that can happen to a human being is to develop hatred toward someone based on a story told by someone who may be hiding their own truth.

READ THIS WITH SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING!

Rumors are dangerous because they can manipulate your emotions, poison your judgment, distort your perception, and turn your heart against someone who has never harmed you. Meanwhile, the person feeding you those rumors may be the very person smiling in your face while secretly manipulating your mind.

THE TRAGEDY IS THAT YOU CAN END UP PUNISHING THE INNOCENT WHILE PROTECTING THE GUILTY.

You can reject someone who genuinely loves you because somebody told you a convincing lie. You can disrespect someone who has never betrayed you because another person has carefully planted suspicion in your heart. You can even become an enemy to your own blessing simply because you allowed another person’s version of events to become your personal truth.

WAKE UP! NOT EVERYONE WHO TELLS YOU A STORY IS TRYING TO HELP YOU. SOME PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO CONTROL HOW YOU SEE OTHERS.

A wise person does not judge a human being merely because of what another human being says about them. A wise person observes character, examines evidence, asks questions, and allows truth to speak before reaching a conclusion.

The Bible declares in Proverbs 18:17:

“In a lawsuit the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.”

Do you understand the depth of that wisdom?

The first person to tell you a story may sound convincing. They may cry while telling it. They may present themselves as the victim. They may even quote your own experiences to make their allegations believable. But a convincing story is not automatically a truthful story, and an emotional presentation is not proof of innocence.

Sometimes, the person you are angry with has never been given an opportunity to explain themselves. Sometimes, the person you defend has never told you the whole truth.

THIS IS WHY DISCERNMENT IS GREATER THAN GOSSIP, AND WISDOM IS GREATER THAN EMOTIONAL REACTION.

Jesus warned in Matthew 7:16, “By their fruit ye shall know them.”

Notice: He pointed to fruit, not rumors.

Look at patterns. Examine conduct. Observe consistency. Pay attention to how people treat others when there is nothing to gain. Do not confuse someone’s ability to speak beautifully with their ability to live truthfully.

HERE IS THE HARD TRUTH:

Some relationships are destroyed not because of what actually happened, but because of what somebody claimed happened.

Some friendships die because people believe accusations they never investigate.

Some families become divided because relatives carry stories from one household to another, adding poison to every conversation.

Some people lose genuine connections because they mistake gossip for discernment.

And some hypocrites remain protected because they have mastered the art of appearing innocent while making everyone else look guilty.

NEVER ALLOW ANOTHER PERSON TO BORROW YOUR MIND, CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS, AND CHOOSE YOUR ENEMIES FOR YOU!

You are responsible for what you believe, what you repeat, and how you treat people. Before you condemn someone, ask yourself: Have I witnessed the truth, or have I merely inherited someone else’s anger?

And remember this: refusing to believe rumors does not mean ignoring genuine evidence of wrongdoing. It means refusing to condemn people without fairness, context, and truth.

YOUR SPIRITUAL MATURITY IS REVEALED NOT ONLY BY WHAT YOU BELIEVE, BUT ALSO BY WHAT YOU REFUSE TO BELIEVE WITHOUT EVIDENCE.

 DECLARATION:

May God deliver your heart from deception, your mind from manipulation, and your relationships from the destruction of careless words.

May your eyes be opened to recognize truth without becoming suspicious of everyone, and may your heart remain pure without becoming blind to the reality of human behavior.

May you never become an instrument of injustice by repeating what you have not verified. May you never destroy an innocent person’s reputation to protect your pride. And may you never defend hypocrisy simply because the hypocrite has mastered the language of victimhood.

I DECLARE: YOU WILL NOT BE CONTROLLED BY GOSSIP, BLINDED BY FLATTERY, OR MANIPULATED BY EMOTIONAL STORIES. YOU WILL WALK IN TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, AND DIVINE UNDERSTANDING!

A FINAL WAKE-UP CALL

Before you hate someone, investigate the truth.

Before you repeat a story, examine its source.

Before you defend someone, examine their character.

Before you destroy a relationship, make sure you understand what truly happened.

BE SLOW TO ACCUSE, QUICK TO SEEK THE TRUTH, AND WISE ENOUGH NOT TO LET SOMEONE ELSE’S BITTERNESS BECOME YOUR OWN.

Because one day, the truth you refused to investigate may expose the lie you were so quick to believe.

BE WISE. BE FAIR. BE DISCERNING. LET TRUTH, NOT RUMORS, GUIDE YOUR JUDGMENT‼️
