How many times have you heard that? No, wait. How many times have you said that? 

How many times have we prayed, ” Lord make me more LIKE JESUS!

Well, honestly, we’ve all probably done it, but there’s nothing wrong with wanting

to be more like Jesus. Being like Him in the way we love, the way we forgive, the way we

show mercy and kindness.

But there are some things when it comes to being like Jesus we need to remember.

***If You Want To Be Like Jesus, Remember, He Had A Wildeness And A Judas!

More than likely, you will too. I don’t know hardly anyone who really did anything worth while in the Kingdom of God, who didn’t face a time in the wilderness and have a Judas in their life.

***When God Calls You To Something, He Is Not Always Calling You To Succeed By

Your Standards!

He’s calling you to obey! 

The success of the calling is up to Him; the obedience is up to you! Jesus always 

obeyed His Father.

***While It Looks Like Things Are Out Of Control, Behind The Scenes, There

Is A God Who Has Given You And I Authority In Jesus To Deal With Any Situation!

***The Most Helpful Thing A Pastor Can Say To His People From The Pulpit Is,

” Please open your Bibles to……”

Preach the Word. It’s The Word that makes the difference!

***When The Whole World Is Running Towards A Cliff, He Who Is Running

In The Opposite Direction Appears To Have Lost His Mind.

Don’t be afraid to be different.

***Christ Is The Head Of This House; The Unseen Guest At Every Meal; The 

Silent Listener To Every Conversation.

***When Our Plans Are Interrupted, His Are Not. God’s Plans Are Proceeding

Exactly As Scheduled, Moving Us Always. This Includes Those Minutes, Hours Or Years Which Seem Most Useless, Wasted, Or Unendurable!

Something that has really helped me over the years, is to remind myself that there are 

NO WASTED SEASONS WITH GOD!

***The Greatest Weakness In The Church Today Is That The Servants Of God

Keep Looking Over Their Shoulder For The Approval Of Men!

***Why Do We Expect To Be Better Treated In This World Than Jesus Was?

***What God Says Is Best, IS BEST, Though All Men In The World Are Against It!
