You know, the enemy isn’t just fighting your peace, he’s fighting your purpose. He knows what happens when you become confident in your calling, consistent in your prayer life, and committed to God’s assignment. That’s why he sends fear, comparison, and other distractions, anything to keep you playing small.
So, what are some tatics the enemy uses to hinder us from walking in our purpose and anointing?
***Fear
Fear of the unknown. Fear of failure. Fear paralyzes you from taking steps of obedience. ” For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind ” (2Tim.1:7). Notice Paul said fear is a spirit. That spirit of fear IS NOT from God!
***Imposter Attitude
” Who do you think you are? ” The enemy will whisper lies to make you doubt what God confirmed. ” Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I set you apart.” (Jer.1:5) The truth is, You are chosen, anointed, and called for such a time as this.
***Comparison Trap
You start watching others instead of obeying Him. Comparison kills clarity. ” Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. ” (Heb.12:1) Stay focused on your assignment and trust God’s timing for your life. Other people’s assignment IS NOT YOURS!
***Prayerlessness
The enemy keeps you too distracted to pray. When you’re disconnectedfrom heaven, you start functioning in your flesh. ” Pray without ceasing. ” (1Thess.5:17) Make prayer a lifstyle, not a last resort!
***Distractions
The enemy sends noise, busyness, and counterfeit opportunities. He knows if he can’t destroy you, he’ll try to distract you. ” Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion… ” (1Pet.5:8) Cancel every distraction sent to derail your purpose. Choose discipline.
Make the descion that you’re not falling for any of his lies. Stay locked in, prayed up, and moving boldly. It’s time to war with The Word and walk in your purpose like you were born for!
