WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU

Ignorance of what Jesus has accomplished is one of faith’s greatest enemies.
You cannot confidently receive what you do not know has been provided.
Isaiah prophesied:

“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities… and with his stripes we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

Matthew connected Jesus’ ministry to this prophecy:

“Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” — Matthew 8:17

Peter declared:

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree…” — 1 Peter 2:24
And:
“By whose stripes ye were healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24

Jesus bore our sins, sicknesses, and infirmities. He willingly suffered, died, was buried, and rose again.
Our confidence rests not on wishful thinking, but on Jesus and His finished work.
Do not put your faith in a specific number of lashes. Scripture does not say Jesus received exactly thirty-nine. Put your faith in what Scripture says:
Jesus suffered for us, bore our sins, carried our infirmities, died, and rose again.
Faith does not create Jesus’ work. It receives what God has revealed and provided through Him.
When sickness attacks, look to Jesus. When fear speaks, return to the Word. When circumstances say there is no hope, answer with Scripture:

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.” — Hebrews 12:2

Your confidence is not in your ability to believe, but in the One you believe.

ACT ON THE WORD:
Read Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17, and 1 Peter 2:24 aloud. Meditate on them, pray them, and bring your need before Jesus. Ask others to pray with you.
Let God’s Word become louder in your heart than fear‼️
