Have you ever felt like your prayers are hitting the ceiling? Like God is silent when
you need Him the most? You’re NOT ALONE! Know this: THIS IS NOT ABANDONMENT.
This is PREPARATION!
There are some important lessons to remember when you’re navigating those
silent seasons we all go through.
~~~SILENCE DOESN’T MEAN ABSENCE!
Just because you can’t hear Him doesn’t mean He’s not there. Sometimes, God is
working in ways we can’t see or understand at the moment.
Key Verse: (Lamentations 3:25)- “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul
who seeks Him.”
~~~SOMETIMES, GOD SPEAKS THROUGH STILLNESS!
God doesn’t always answer with loud signs — sometimes He speaks in the quiet. Think
of Elijah in 1 Kings 19:11,12. God wasn’t in the wind, earthquake, or fire, but in a gentle
whisper.
~~~YOUR FAITH IS BEING STRETCHED!
This season is about trusting Him beyond what you see or feel. Faith is your positive
response to what God has already done in Christ, believing you receive. James 1:3
reminds us that the testing, or trying of our faith, employs, or you could say, puts
patience to work for us.
~~~GOD IS GIVING YOU SPACE TO GROW!
His silence might be His way of preparing you. He is shaping your character and
strengthening your dependence on Him. Trust that He is setting you up for
greater!
~~~HIS ANSWERS COME IN HIS TIMING, NOT YOURS!
Delay doesn’t mean denial. God moves at the perfect time, even when we don’t
understand it. Isaiah 55:8,9 reminds us that His ways are higher than ours. That
doesn’t mean we can’t know them, but rather, we must spend time in His presence
so we can know His ways by the Holy Spirit revealing them to us.
The stillness isn’t punishment, it’s permission to grow. To trust Him beyond what or how
you feel. To learn dependence over control. To rest instead of rushing. What He’s shaping
in you right now will sustain what He’s bringing next.
You don’t have to walk this season alone. Take what you need, move at God’s pace,
and let Him do the work only He can do. Keep showing up!
