Joseph’s coat was taken, but his calling never was. What God placed on his life didn’t disappear just because people tried to strip him of it. The coat represented favor, but the calling was deeper than anything visible. And that’s where a lot of people get it wrong—they think if something external is removed, then something internal has been lost. Not so.
People can misunderstand you. They can reject you. They can even try to discredit you. But none of that has the authority to cancel what God has spoken over your life.
Genesis 50:20 (NLT) says, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good.”
That means even the betrayal, even the stripping, even the pit—it all becomes part of the process, not the end of the story.
The enemy will always try to attack your identity before your destiny. If he can get you to question who you are, you’ll start doubting where you’re going. That’s the real battle. Not the coat… but your confidence in the holy calling upon your life.
Don’t let people talk you out of what God has already confirmed in you. Don’t let seasons of loss convince you that you’ve lost your purpose. You haven’t.
If anything, what’s on your life is being refined, strengthened, and prepared for something greater than what you can currently see.
Stay steady. Stay grounded in His Word. And don’t come down from what He’s called you to—no matter who tries‼️💥
