The Anointing is Transferable-So is Wickedness

Ricky / July 31, 2026

The Anointing Is Transferable—So Is Wickedness
Tell Me Who Your Friends Are, and I’ll Tell You Who You Are

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”— Proverbs 27:17

The familiar saying, **”Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are,”** echoes a timeless biblical principle. God created relationships to shape us. Whether we realize it or not, the people we spend the most time with influence our thoughts, values, decisions, and ultimately our spiritual walk.

Proverbs 27:17 reminds us that **people sharpen one another**. Just as iron removes the dullness from iron, godly friendships strengthen our faith, challenge us to grow, and encourage us to pursue Christ wholeheartedly. Throughout Scripture, we see that God’s anointing is

The Power of Prayer

Ricky / July 31, 2026

Text: Matthew 21:22; James 5:16; Philippians 4:6–7
Theme: Prayer is not just asking—it is connecting with God, changing us, and moving heaven and earth.

• Many think: Prayer is just a list of requests or a last resort when we cannot fix things ourselves.

• The Truth: Prayer is our greatest privilege, our strongest weapon, and our lifeline to God.

• Key Thought: “Prayer does not just change things—it changes us, and aligns us with God’s almighty will.”

I. THE POWER OF PRAYER COMES FROM WHO WE PRAY TO

Matthew 21:22 — “Whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

• It is not about how good our words are, but who we approach: the Almighty God.

• He is able to do far more than we ask or

Is Everyone A Child of God

Ricky / July 28, 2026

“We’re all God’s children.”
•John 1:12 - “To all who received Him… He gave the right to become children of God.”

“God is everyone’s Father.”
• John 8:42-44 — Jesus said, “If God were your Father, you would love Me… You are of your father the devil…

“Your identity doesn’t matter-we’re all the same.”
• 1 John 3:10 — “By this it is evident who are the children of God… and who are the children of the devil.”

“You don’t need Jesus to be God’s child.”
• Galatians 3:26 — “For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.”

The Bible never teaches that everyone is automatically a child of God. It teaches that you must be born again into His family.

Yes—God created everyone in His image.
Yes—He loves the

“God Gave Them Over”

Ricky / July 28, 2026

“God Gave Them Over…”
Romans 1:24, 26, 28 (KJV)

Romans 1 is one of the most sobering chapters in Scripture. Three times the Bible says, “God gave them over.” This does not mean that God delighted in their destruction. It means that after continual rebellion, rejection of His truth, and refusal to repent, God allowed them to follow the sinful path they had chosen.

Romans 1:24 (KJV):
“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:”

Romans 1:26 (KJV):
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections…”

Romans 1:28 (KJV):
“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate

The Price For Preaching Free Grace

Ricky / July 27, 2026

Tell people about the grace of God and you’ll experience trouble. Guaranteed. And much of this trouble will come from religious people who claim to know God. (Fret not. It happened to Jesus.)

Here are eight ways that you may pay a high price for preaching free grace:

👉 1. Preach grace and you will encounter intimidation

You will be told that you are confused and in error. You’re unbalanced. You don’t know the scriptures and the whole counsel of God. You’re too young. You haven’t been to Bible School. You don’t know how to parse Greek verbs. How could you possibly know more than the man of God?

👉 2. Preach grace and you will be condemned by those who don’t see it

You will be warned, scorned and rebuked. You will be hit with Jude

From Scandal To Grace…Because Jesus Rewrites Everything

Ricky / July 26, 2026

You Whisper “I Love God”… But Why Do You Still Want That Sin?
The hidden war between devotion and desire—and the scandalous grace that refuses to let you go.

You don’t talk about it out loud.

You lift your hands in worship. You close your eyes when the prayer gets deep. You say “Lord, I love You” and for a moment, you mean it with everything in you.

But later… when no one is watching… something else wakes up.

A craving.
A memory.
A pull you thought you buried.

And suddenly you’re asking the question that terrifies you:

“Can I really love God… and still want this?”

Be honest. This hit harder than you expected.

Because the truth is—you’re not confused about what’s right. You’re conflicted

One Decision Can Change Your Life

Ricky / July 25, 2026

ONE DECISION CAN CHANGE YOUR ETERNITY

Revelations About the Cost of Obedience, the Danger of Compromise, and Why Every “Yes” to God Shapes Your Eternal Destiny.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2
“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands… all these blessings will come on you and accompany you.”

John 14:23
“Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.’”

James 1:22
“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

Every day, life places us at the crossroads of decisions. Some choices seem small, while others demand painful sacrifice. Yet in the kingdom of God, every decision to obey His voice

Revival

Ricky / July 24, 2026

REVIVAL DOES NOT RETURN THROUGH THE HANDS THAT CRUCIFIED IT.

A church can be full and still be spiritually empty. Loud music can shake the building while heaven remains silent. Expensive altars, polished sermons, and overflowing offerings can never replace the fire of genuine repentance.

The greatest enemy of revival is not persecution from outside—it is pride, compromise, and self-glory inside the sanctuary.

The generation that exchanged holiness for popularity cannot manufacture the presence of God. The hands that quenched the fire cannot be trusted to ignite it again unless they first bow in broken repentance.

God has never depended on influential personalities to restore His glory. Throughout Scripture, He has raised unknown voices, humble servants,

” Do These Words of Mine.”

Ricky / July 22, 2026

Jesus said, “Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock” (Matthew 7:24).

Seems simple, right? Do what Jesus said and you’ll be safe as houses. You’ll be eternally secure and you’ll stand when the storms come.

Only it’s not simple, because people can’t agree on *what Jesus said*.

What are “these words of mine” that we are supposed to do?

If you were a Jew listening to Jesus preach the Sermon on the Mount, you might think “these words of mine” are the Sermon on the Mount. Which is to say, “these words” are the laws that Jesus has just outlined. In other words, the words of Jesus are basically the words of Moses.

Which leads to all sorts of

Overcoming Sinful Habits Pt. 4

The Secret to Overcoming Sinful Habits

Part 4: Why It Is So Difficult to Guard Your Mind

Many believers sincerely desire to live holy lives, yet they wonder why the battle in the mind seems so intense.

The answer is that we are living in a world whose values are opposed to God.

The Bible calls Satan “the god of this world” who blinds the minds of those who do not believe.

«”In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not…”
— 2 Corinthians 4:4»

Jesus also referred to him as “the ruler of this world.”

«John 12:31; John 14:30; John 16:11»

Satan does not need to personally tempt every individual.

He has influenced a world system that constantly feeds the mind with ideas that oppose

Your Giant Is About To Fall

Ricky / July 20, 2026

⚔️ YOUR GOLIATH IS ABOUT TO FALL! ⚔️

🌿 The giant standing in front of you is not proof that God has abandoned you. It is proof that God is about to reveal His glory.

Goliath shouted for 40 days, but David needed only one moment of faith.

The enemy studies your fears.

🌿 God knows your victory.

Your Goliath may be sin that refuses to let go…financial lack… fear that steals your peace… addiction that keeps pulling you back… sickness… despair… spiritual attacks… or impossible circumstances.

🌿 Do not bow to what Christ has called you to conquer.

David didn’t wear Saul’s armor.

🌿 He wore confidence in the living God.

He didn’t trust his weapon.

🌿 He trusted the One who guided the

The Battlefield of the Believer Is the Mind (Part 3)
The fall of Eve did not begin when she stretched out her hand to take the fruit.
It began much earlier.
The serpent first planted an idea.
Then Eve considered it.
She meditated on it.
Finally, she acted upon it.
The Bible says,

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food… and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit…” (Genesis 3:6)

Wrong information…
Wrong meditation…
Wrong decision…
Wrong action.

Jesus also showed us that sin begins in the heart before it appears in our actions.

“Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28)

Victory over sin therefore

Overcoming Sinful Habits Pt2

Ricky / July 19, 2026

The Secret to Overcoming Sinful Habits. Part 2

Yesterday we established that thoughts produce actions, actions become habits, habits shape character, and character determines destiny.

Now the question is:
What determines what occupies your mind?
The answer is simple:

The things you watch.

The things you hear.

The friends you keep.

The conversations you entertain.

The books you read.

The environment you expose yourself to.

These constantly feed your mind with information—either godly or ungodly.
Whatever you repeatedly meditate on eventually finds expression in your life.

You cannot continually consume seductive entertainment and expect to overcome sexual immorality.

You cannot constantly think like

What You Sow In Secret, You Reap In Public

Ricky / July 18, 2026

🌿 The room nobody sees is the room that decides your future.

What you do in secret is what will answer you in the open. There is no shortcut to spiritual maturity. We are made spiritual by living in the Word and by the Word living in us.

Everybody has a secret place. Not always a physical room. Sometimes it is the phone screen at midnight, the thought you keep rehearsing, the door you quietly close so nobody asks questions. Most people treat that place as if it does not count, because no one else is there to see it.

But somebody is there. “Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:6). God was already in the room before you closed the door.

As a Christian, your secret place can be a place where you experience holy

The Secret to Overcoming Sinful Habits

Ricky / July 18, 2026

The Secret to Overcoming Sinful Habits. Part 1

Many believers genuinely love God, yet they continue to struggle with certain sinful habits.
The problem is often not the absence of God’s grace, but the wrong use of the mind.
God created the mind to process the information we allow into it and convert those thoughts into action steps.

No deliberate action begins with the hands or the feet—it begins in the mind.
The Bible says,

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7)

Everything in life follows a pattern:
Thoughts produce actions.
Repeated actions become habits.
Habits shape character.
Character determines destiny.

This is why Solomon wrote:
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues

Man Talk

DEVELOP A CHURCH CULTURE THAT ATTRACTS MEN INSTEAD OF REPELLING THEM

Many churches lament the absence of men, yet few ask the harder question: What kind of church culture are we creating?

Jesus had no difficulty attracting men. Fishermen, tax collectors, soldiers, tradesmen, and businessmen gladly followed Him. He did not soften His message or lower His demands. He called men to a life of courage, sacrifice, and purpose.

If we want men in our churches, we must cultivate the kind of culture that welcomes biblical masculinity instead of suppressing it.

1. Preach Truth With Conviction

Men are not looking for polished speeches. They are looking for truth worth building their lives upon.

Weak, apologetic preaching produces weak members. Bold,

Beware of the Shepherd Who Beats The Sheep

Ricky / July 15, 2026

I recently came across this story and found it to be too good not to share.

Many years ago, a friend of mine was invited to speak at a church. ⛪

He sat in the front row as an honored guest and joined in the praise and worship. But before he was introduced as the morning’s speaker, he watched in disbelief as the host pastor stood up and began criticizing the congregation.

“This morning’s worship was pathetic. Half of you didn’t show up to the prayer meeting, while the rest strolled in late with your lattes and scruffy jeans. It’s disgraceful. You’re lukewarm and God is sick of you. Some of you need to take a long, hard look at yourselves and ask, ‘Am I really a Christian?’”

Stung by these harsh words of criticism, some people hung their

The Word of the King

Ricky / July 14, 2026

Ever heard this: “The word of the king has power” (Ecc. 8:4)?

Know what it means? It means that if you are believing for the salvation and healing of your friends but your faith doesn’t prompt you to say or do anything, it is useless faith. You’re like a silent king.

I don’t say this to condemn you but to inspire you. You are a king and your words have power; so speak them.

Or write them, sing them, pray them.🎤

As kings, we can command blessings where there are curses, healing where there is sickness, and life where there is death. Knowing this, why would you stay silent? 👑

Do you know why Adam lost his crown in the garden? He didn’t speak. The word of the king has power but when the serpent spoke, King Adam was speechless. He
