His word serves as a guiding light throughout your life. Just as a lamp illuminates your path, the word of God acts as that very lamp, shining brightly to dispel darkness and illuminate your journey while revealing His goodness. It enables you to notice potential obstacles that might lead you to stumble along the way.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD” (Psalm 112:7)

Most people operate in fear because they don’t know the love of God, and how this love pushes out all fear from the heart. Anchoring our hearts in His Word teaches us that He’s always trustworthy and He’ll never let us down; when bad things happen, they won’t be able to move us.

So, recently I was thinking about the importance of studying the Word of God. Actually I was thinking about how important it is for us to be open and sensitive to the Holy Spirit as we are reading/studying the Bible. Jesus tells us the Holy Spirit is the teacher(Jo. 14:26) and it has been said,”He is a genius.” So, I believe it would be safe to say,He is The Perfect Teacher! Think about it. Without the help of the Holy Spirit to understand the meaning of what we read,we’re prone to reading our own biases into God’s Word. Why is this dangerous?When we see only what we want to see in the Bible,it loses all power to transform us. So, make a decision to listen and be sensitive to the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit. After all, He is The Perfect Teacher!

Waiting can be difficult. It’s not merely about what you’re anticipating at the end of the wait, but also about the person you will transform into during this time. Remember, God has something special in store for you, even amidst this challenging season.
